6-4-11 Casey and Mark's Wedding

Casey and Mark got in touch about a year ago to get a "Save the Date" drawing of them made. When the wedding finally rolled around this month, I ended up extending my drawing time to more than 6 hours to get as many of their friends and family in as possible (plus the band and catering service!). Thanks to Chelby for all her hard work setting this one up!

"Jon Casey drew the caricature for our wedding save-the-date and then was part of the entertainment for our wedding day. He was a huge hit and when his time was coming to an end people were begging for him to stay longer. We ended up booking him for another hour because the queue was so long.

He is a charming man and spent hour after hour drawing and entertaining our guests both with a big smile on his face. He even waited to take a break so that one of our fussy guests could have her turn.

Worth every penny, he was a highlight of our wedding and kept people laughing all night long."

'Tis the Wedding Season

Had a great time at the latest wedding I attended. Many congratulations to the happy couple, John and Carrie who got hitched on May 27th.

Travelin' Times with EVENTtoons at International PowWow

San Francisco is an incredible city beckoning travelers from all over the world with a reputation for good times. It makes perfect sense that the U.S. Travel Association chose SF to be the spot for this year's International PowWow. Houston CVB delighted guests at their booth with live digital drawings from EVENTtoons!

For five days, May 21-25, over 5,000 people attended this event. It was the Mecca of travel association trade shows (pun intended)! Hosted by the San Francisco Travel Association, over 70 countries were represented with over 1,100 booths. Attendees met first as potential industry acquaintances and no doubt, successfully parted with some business allies and certainly some new friendships. Just look at all those smiling faces!
