I met a lot of great people at this Baht Mitzvah, and will be drawing for other families that attended in the future.

5-14-10 Part 2, UC Hastings Party in North Beach SF!

Vien contacted me to draw for the UC Hastings bash she was throwing in North Beach. She thought my live digital caricatures would be a hit in the club they rented for the evening. The screen was the brightest thing in the room, and really got peoples attention. Over 500 people showed up and the party was wild! I drew nonstop for over 5 hours!

I got this email the next week from Vien, who booked the entertainment :

I hope this email finds you well. Thank you very much for your amazing work at the 3L Graduation Party! The law students were very impressed by your skills and you were by far the most popular attraction of the night!

5-14-10 Part 1, Warriors Day in Turlock with Big Al!

Big Al and I drew for 5 hours Friday morning to help the Warriors celebrate!

5-8-10 Party in SF Hires Jon Casey !

5-3-10, 5-4-10, Jon Casey takes his Live Digital Sketches to Chicago for ALLIANZ conference!

One of the higher ups at Allianz was not happy with the photo of him that was used for the event, so I drew him up a new one!

Here you can see the setup. My equipment comfortably fit on 2 cocktail tables, which did not take up a lot of room but did attract the eyes of everyone at the event!

This lady collected chopsticks for her cool hairdo, she had purchased 60 of them in Chicago's Chinatown!
Everyone joked that this guy was "the cowboy" of the company, so I drew him with a 10 gallon hat!

Doug Shannon of EVENToons could not make this event, as he was already booked. Allianz is a big client of his, so he sent me to Chicago instead. I drew for 12 hours on monday and most of the day on Tuesday, finishing off more than 50 attendees. They were very happy with the work and I look forward to more out of town events with EVENToons.

5-1-10 part two, Christine and Derrick's Wedding in San Francisco hires Jon Casey and Rhoda Draws to entertain guests with Live Digital Caricatures!

This wedding was a lot of fun! The location was beautifully decorated, the guests were having fun and everyone from young to old was excited to get a sketch.

This guy held a huge smile during the whole sketch.

This gentleman was a lot of fun to draw.
Towards the end of the night the drinks were flowing and the sketches started to get downright silly.
Cute couple!

Being that this was going to be a big party with lots of attendees, I brought along Rhoda Draws, one of the original Digital Caricature Artists to help out. The two of us kept the lines moving quickly and gave every guests who wanted one a chance at having an original artwork souvenir sketch!

Hi Jon, I just want to thank you so much for the wonderful job you did at our wedding. Our guests have been raving about you nonstop and told me how hard you worked and how the line for your caricatures were never ending! I really appreciate all the work you put in that day and wanted to let you know that our guests LOVED you! One of the best parts of the wedding! I'm sorry that I didn't even have time to see you that day, Derrick and I kept on being dragged all over the place and now we're bummed that we didn't even get a chance to get a caricature done by you. However, we can't wait to see the collage of caricatures!

Again, thank you sooo much! It was really a wonderful night and you made it even better!

5-1-10 Part one, Mica's Birthday party hires Jon Casey to draw Live Digital Caricatures!

The kids were hypnotized by the TV showing me coloring their sketches!

After sketching Mica's whole family, I put them together on one print.

4-30-10 SAGE hires Bay Area Caricaturist Jon Casey to draw Live Digital Caricatures in Burlingame California

SAGE, a student run organization, had me come and entertain out of town High Schoolers on a mission to start their own business. The digital caricatures were a hit with the crowded room.

This was the beginning of a 5 day marathon of live digital caricatures, from SF to Chicago and back!
