Yelp had me come out and draw last Friday for their fifth night of partying in a row! Lot of smiling faces and people there having fun. Among many other awesome vendors, my friends at SnapFiesta were also there! If I drew you, you can check out the pics HERE.

Volunteered time tonight for The Arc in SF, a group of social workers who help developmentally disabled adults. These people work hard and deserved a good time! Eventtoons came out in force with myself,Doug Shannon, and Salah Khudari to entertain. Downloads at Eventtoons.com

1-10-12 Jon and Salah for Fenwick and West at the Weinstein Gallery, Union Square SF

SF's Weinstein gallery, which became even more famous this year after the theft of a Picasso (later returned).

Fenwick and West put on a great party at the Weinstein Gallery in SF, with entertainment by Bay Area Caricatures. Both Jon Casey and Salah were on hand to sketch the smiling guests. As you can tell from the photos, we were a hit! View and download photos from the event here!

This was a really unique and fun job! Venrock hired Gary Wagner  http://www.garywagnerphotos.com
to shoot their party, and as he took photos he would drop them off to me to draw. I really enjoyed capturing a scene and people interacting together. I would love to have the chance to draw for other meetings/parties in a way that goes beyond just caricature and tries to capture the event as it takes place.
