I brought along a new digital caricaturist, Salah Khudari, to work with me at this event. It is a biennial benefit for the poor, drawing hundreds of people from the Bay Area. There was lots of food, live music, and our digital sketches!

This lady walked by early in the night, and I flagged her down to sit for a drawing.

11-11-10 Minneapolis, Allianz and Meryll Lynch with EVENTtoons

I flew straight from Las Vegas to Minneapolis to draw for Meryll Lynch and Allianz. That makes Long Beach, Austin, Las Vegas and Minneapolis all in a month!! At the end of the month, I'll be in NY for a week, as well.

ISCA 2010 sketches!

ISCA stands for Internation Society of Caricature Artists. I attended the convention in Las Vegas this year. All of these were drawn in one afternoon, and each one is an artist who also attended.

Most, if not all, of the posts on this blog are directed towards those that either hire me for an event, have been drawn by me, or are looking for an artist.

This post is for the rest of us out there, artists offering up our skills, talents, time, and efforts for our livelihoods.

Tomorrow is the first day of the 2010 Las Vegas International Society of Caricature Artists! I will be in attendance from the 7th until the 11th.

I am very much looking forward to meeting new artists and seeing all the amazing talent out there! If you happen to come upon my blog and see me there, please say hello! I'll be on the lookout for so many of you whom I have only had the chance of seeing by Facebook or Blog.

New York City and new horizons...

As an East Coast kid, I have long missed the Seasons that past us right by in the Bay Area. As of January 2011, I will be offering my services to New York City and the East Coast.

I will continue to work here in the Bay, and take on jobs as they come in both areas.

With a new nephew coming in December, friends and loved ones in NYC awaiting, and a hopeful heart, I have launched

Trade Show - EVENTtoons in Austin Texas, 11-3-10

The three of us drew up close to 200 people in one day. It was a lot of fun to travel to Austin for work, and a treat for me to watch these two masters of digital caricature work the crowd.
