I had a lot of fun visiting Canada's Capitol, Ottawa in November this year. I was there drawing for Symantec, thanks to EventToons for sending me! You can download my drawings at EventToons.com.

Shura Kelly, Bark to Basics pet drawings commission complete!
Just wrapped up about 75 dog drawings in time for my work trip to Ottawa Monday morning. Here's a tiny thumbnail view of the doggies, plus my cat hiding in there as well!
Shura was kind enough to submit this great review of my services to Yelp!

International Society of Caricature Artists!
Just finished a great week in St. Pete beach with hundreds of caricaturists from all over the world!
Along with seeing some old friends and making new ones, I also got second place as World's Fastest Caricaturist, competing with hundreds of artists from 9 different countries.
Along with seeing some old friends and making new ones, I also got second place as World's Fastest Caricaturist, competing with hundreds of artists from 9 different countries.
Below are just a few of my drawings of other caricaturists who attended the event!
See if you can spot the faces below...
Myself and Jan Op De Beeck, who I consider to be as good as any caricaturist alive and possibly the best!
Dan Almarei, you want this guy around to turn a night of drawing into a nonstop weeklong party!
The president of the International Society of Caricature Artists, Mr. Steve Hearn.
John Sprague and myself.
Ryan Rhoades, a digital caricaturist like myself from Florida.
L to R, Jeff Mandell, myself, Ryan Rhoades, and Salah Khudari.
This was my first time at the convention for more than a couple days, and I got to see what it was really about. I learned a lot, and next year's convention in Texas can't come soon enough!
Triton Lim, Malaysian Caricaturists
Triton Lim is a caricaturist in Malaysia. He has been in touch with me to show my work to people in his country, and also show me his work. He is making great work in a country where few people know what caricature is! This video is really great.

I'm sorry that we didn't get to chat during the wedding but thanks soooo much for making our special day even more special!
Our guests loved their caricatures! Quote: "The best wedding keepsake ever." I'd have to agree.

Commissioned drawings, ISCA convention in Florida, other travels, and Holiday events ahead!
I'm still drawing up some doggies for a great client, with a new batch waiting for me to have some free time to work on them. I'll have done about 100 of them by the end of November! It's a lot of fun to have new shapes and textures to cartoon, as well as the hilarious nature of the dog's personality that comes across in a single photo the way that people's rarely do.
Soon, I'll be traveling to St. Petes in Florida for this year's ISCA convention! (more info on that soon!)...afterwards, I'll be working in Ottawa Canada, then visiting Joshua Tree Ca, NYC, and Richmond Va. all before the end of the year.
With the Holiday Season approaching, I was looking back at a few of the jobs from the past year. The Holiday season is always the busiest part of my year, and I feel so lucky to have been able to draw for hundreds of events this past year. Here are a few photos from one of them that really stuck out in my mind as a lot of fun. The great smiles I got from my work this night are one of the reasons I think I have one of the best jobs in the world!
