B'Not Mitzvah Celebration

On May 21st I celebrated the B'Not Mitzvah of two lovely young ladies. My congratulations goes out to Rachael and Hannah! Here are a couple of drawings from the big event.

11-28-09 Bat Mitzvah

A Bat Mitzvah with my caricatures as the entertainment. This family drew up a dry erase board of all the kids attending, so that no one was left out and no one had to wait in line. They also set up a clothesline system to hang the drawings as I finished them. The little girl in the purple dress (bottom right) had so much fun watching me that she took over seeing who would be next and wiping away the name once they had gone. Even with my more detailed "shaded" sketches, we managed to get in over 40 drawings (all the kids and some adults too!) in about 2 hours.

Bat mitzvah 9-5-09 San Rafael

Susan Adler, a Bay Area Photographer, must know her stuff because she put together a great Bat Mitzvah for her daughter in San Rafael. The DJ was great, the kids had a blast, and the caricatures were a hit!

Double Bat Mitzvah 5/16/09

I drew up some color pictures for the Bat Mitzvah girls on high quality 100% archival rag paper ahead of time, and then drew all of their friends at the event!
